Mommy?

Randomly popped in my head....

“Mommy why don’t you hear me, look I’m right here!”  The small child cries.

He looks down to his twin on the bed.

“Mommy is Evan sick, why are you crying?”

The small boy turns around and looks at himself in the mirror.

“Mom?” His reflection asks it passes through him.

“Yes sweetie heart.” The child’s mother replies

“Is Scott sick?”

“No my child your brother has died…”

“But I’m right here mother?”

The child says as they pass through him out the door.

And the ghost child is left to cry.

Author's Note

I do not have a twin but I did lose a younger brother when I was very young, I'm honestly not sure what the trigger was for this piece. I borrowed the picture from Google.

It's quite a creepy and sad story at the same time... concreteangel is right... this is haunting.

the way it is written though is confusing... perhaps some refining? And the word bother to brother...

ghosts seems to be on your mind recently! This is a beautiful, heartbreaking piece, and I like how you touch on the deep bond that exists between twins, real twins, and etheral twins... well done!!!

Ya I think ive been watching too much ghost adventure. 0.o Ha-ha dont normally watch those shows as most are fake but I like how they do everything to debunk stuff before thinking that it could be a ghost. :)
