BootsA Poem by AWickedMoonUm... bored... at work? Yes that sounds like a good excuse. Enjoy my rant!Thump, Thump, Thump, The sounds of
those boots down the hallway, They fill me with
awe, Dumbstruck with their
adrenaline, To go the places
they have been, Thru grass and
mud, Thru sand and water,
Wind and rain, Blood and tears, If you listen
they tell a story, But you must pay
a price, For what they
have seen only there master can know, But if you dare
to listen, His master’s
blade will meet your throat. © 2013 AWickedMoonReviews
