Dear Diamond QueenA Poem by AWickedMoonA poem about my favorite season. :)
Oh you are my favorite,
The
way you glisten,
The
way you make them sway,
They
dance when your icy voice whispers,
They
dance to the howling winds song,
And
dance so purely, stripped of their cloths,
Their
dark skin sparkles, dusted with layer of glitter,
Oh
to be able to withstand,
To
stand for hours,
My
bare feet buried in your white soft sand,
To
feel the winter’s cold kiss.
And
dance forever in your snowy lands,
To
place my finger upon a rock,
And
watch as the frost engulfs.
To
paint the land in diamonds,
And
cast a spell for all to sleep.
Dear
winter you are my favorite.
