Oh jelly,

Oh jelly fish,

Please go away,

I do not wish to be electrocuted today,

All though you are pretty,

And you seem to glow,

Please go away,

You come in big,

You come in small,

But either way the dangers await,

For me and you,

Just don’t belong,

I used to live on a boat in Southeast Alaska and we'd always have jellyfish near the dock. Dangerous things; I always prayed I didn't fall in. The hypothermia may have been more pleasant than the stings ;-) I have to admit, your first two lines made me think of SpongeBob...maybe I need to go to bed :-D

That sounds awesome I love the sea and most of its creatures but personally I'd rather swim with a shark then a jelly fish! I went on a sailing trip and I too was so scared that i'd fall in to those squishy creatures. I Love spongebob!

It's all good until the first freeze, then the novelty wears off with a quickness. Check out my photos some time; there is a picture of my boat in Alaska there...it was a 70 foot converted tug. I love SpongeBob, too.
