FighterA Poem by AWickedMoon
For 26 years,
A Fighter of a small town,
For 26 years not a dime did he ask,
They are the unseen,
Until someone’s in need,
A fighter of fires.
For 8 of those years a team he did lead,
He led them in to battle,
Against a formidable foe.
Though his fighting time has passed,
Retired now he still battles the smoke,
Though he is tired he still stands
strong,
The flames he once fought,
He now commands,
He work on creations that none can
compare,
To fill his garden a beautiful layer,
Though the smoke still stings his
lungs,
He still stands proud.
