Paper Stars

Just a little poem I came up with searching Floating lantrens on google.

The people stand amongst their stars,

The world is beautiful at night,

Added beauty with their light,

But release they must there taste of stars,

And let them float unto the sky above,

And as they float,

The crowd is silent,

Such beauty is meant to be soundless,

For a moment time stands still as they watch there stars drift away,

Free those stars will be,

And those who watched will start to fade,

Awaiting for the day that they too with float and join the stars.

I do love the stars not as much as the moon, but this poem is actually about the paper lantrns like in the picture. :)
