Carnage

Wanted to right a dark poem this is what i got.

The blood seeps in to her shoes, as she walks past the dead

A wicked smile placed upon her lips

Her eyes dancing a dangerous fire

She extends out her arms beckoning her creatures forward

Her black hair dangles down covering her face,

As the crows pick at her flesh,

She picks up a dagger with her sharp teeth

Then she crouches disappearing under the mass of birds

Moments pass,

A terrifying shriek explodes the air around,

And the crows fly away, but one remains,

She opens her enormous blood red wings and lifts up to the night sky

As she does fire spreads around the field mangling everything in sight.

Author's Note

I wrote one poem then decided to write three more the next in this little poem series is "Blood Lust." Let me know what you think of them. Any feedback is appreciated.
