Drunken Dreamers/Poets

Drunken Dreamers/Poets

A Poem by Tiki
"

Our dream is what sustain us but sometimes they are to escape the realities of life. What are we fearing about life?

"
The roads that we are intertwined with,
Which we live with,
We drinkers twist those roads with just a thought.
The roads that bend, that flow, that turn so steeply that no human can survive.
And yet, we drinkers untwist those curving roads and map it out with our dreams.

We drinkers assume our life with the assumptions that are bounded with our dreams.
Without an assumption, poetry cannot be made.
The assumption of the dreams which you play are the drugs that we take.
Let us be free from those drugs as they won’t do us any good.
Because the twisting roads, the steeply turns are none other than poetry itself and none other than life itself.
So with these twists and turns, without our drunken fear, we will be able to laugh just fine without fear.
