Just To Love You.

 

I wish I could love you.

I mean truly love you.

Physically touch you,

kiss you, have you, hold

you.

 

Not this pathetic excuse for

a sentiment that should be

"love", but isn't reaching its

potential by any means.

 

Not this loving from a distance,

this lack of touch and taste, of

scent and sound, my senses going

completely unused, when they

only wish to serve your skin,

and the empty "wanting" feeling

that swims around in my bloodstream,

seeking you out in warm places,

but finding cold metal instead.

 

Most of all...I wish I could love you

and have you love me the same.

 

That way, the circle would be

complete...

 

...instead of just stopping short at the

bottom-most corner.

Wow, I'm sure this will reach quite a few people in Cyberland, hit home here as well.
Such a pure, detailed and open expression of how 'real' love transcends space and physical substance, but falls short of the life which it breeds in dreams.
