The Vicious Color.

The Vicious Color.

A Poem by Luna
"

Pain. Pure and simple.

"

I know what it is,
to watch ice melt
into rivers that will
drown you, cut you
down in size and
make a fitting bed
of water for you.

I know what it is,
to watch fire burn
away every decent
branch and leaf,
to reduce to nothing
the forest you walked
in simple joy in.

I know what it is,
to feel the earth give
and tremble, whilst
your feet lose all sense
of ground and you take
that tumble of shame
down.

And I know what it is,
to watch love drain
away, to watch emotion
go ablaze in smoke,
and to find your heart
has been buried.

I know this, because
I watched your
blue eyes, once the softest,
and kindest I knew,
turn ice cold, and cruel.

I watched your eyes,
as they watched mine
and no longer
wanted me to
know them.

A very well write! Love it!
I did feel your pain in all of it!

*hugs* My darling girl... I know what it is to see the pain in the words you write and to share it with an echoing pain of my own. Just remember that an angel's tears are the saddest thing in the world to see. This was beautiful darling. I love it when you write.

Gorgeous. Anyone can write a poem about hardship and pain, but I think you really nailed it. Every single word was just right.. It's very sharp and honest. Keep writing!

heart rending piece of writing reeks of sincerity. I think perhaps we have all been through this experience.Presented in well planned poetic prose

What can be said about me? You know, I find this whole "about me" section completely vain and useless. On the other hand... I suppose I could selectively ignore the "about me" label and say .. more..
