HAPPY'S LAST GOOD BYE

HAPPY'S LAST GOOD BYE

A Poem by DONALD EISSLER
"

LOST MY BESTEST EVER FRIEND LAST NIGHT... ... MAY SHE "BIP" (bark in peace )..

"

I know she's looking down at me
Saying “Papa please don't cry.”
You know I had to leave you
It was my time to die

You were my best friend too
That please do not forget
If my pain was not so bad
I'd still with you yet .

I came to your side last night
To say my last goodbys
You know it hurt me even more
When I saw the teardrops in your eyes

Felt your hand on my head
As you tried to sooth my pain
Said the words I love you
Please let that memory remain.

Thank you for the times
That together we did share
And for the rides in the car
Wind blowing thru my furry hair

I will miss the fire side
With my head right at your feet
How my ears would pop up
When you asked "Happy" want a treat?

I wish for you true Happy-ness
For thats what's you've given me
Please find someone to really love
That would make me “Happy” as can be

Now it's time for me to go
To chase some Rabbits in the Sky
My work here now is done
So I'll see you by and by.

Donald...what can I say. She was a faithful friend and my dog Snuffles adored her. We can't stop crying. Some comfort we are huh? I think she knows how much you loved her.

Omg this completely tore me up because of how much I love my own, all of the moments that you get are a treasure. I am truly sorry for your loss. This is a wonderful tribute to your best friend and greatest companion.

Nice tribute. He'd be chasing his tail in honor of this.
