WORDS TO MY REBECCA

WORDS TO MY REBECCA

A Poem by DONALD EISSLER
"

Some more of a Tarnished Knights words of love

"

To be able again to see a flame aglow

Upon what once I viewed as nothing but a

Flameless, lifeless piece of wax

Does now warm my heart.

The warmth and comfort it exudes

Akin to a couple wrapped in an embrace of time

Their bodies releasing those feelings of

Warmth, comfort and security

Knowing they are joined as one

In lifes travels, both being able

To find forgiveness in their souls

Of the others past deeds done.

Each movement of its flame

Once casting a shadow of doubt

In the portals of ones mind

Now only balzes upward

The sun, the moon and the stars

All now shine down directly

Allowing no shadow of doubt

To flicker across ones mind

Yes, my dear Rebecca

Those two bodies

Wrapped in time

Are yours and mine .

Lovely words indeed and a great body of them to share with the one you love.
