My name is Captain Tarnished

I am Captain of this ship.

I fly the Jolly Roger

Rule it with a stinging whip.

My ship I named Adonis,

We sail the seven sea.

I named the ship Adonis

Cause it looks a lot like me.

For I am a handsom Pirate

Bring havoc where 'arr I sail

I’m feared in a sea of calm

Or when in a heavy gale

Have a wench in every port

From Havana to Sarasota.

Even have me two or three

In the port of Taratoga .

You have heard of Captain Jack

Black Beard and Henry Morgan too.

When they speak of Captain Tarnished

It will scare the hell right out of you

For when I’m on Adonis

I do stand tall and mean .

Always looking for a treasure ship

Perhaps off the starboard beam.

Have captured Spanish Galleons

Their booty was galore

Even capture an English ship

It was a man war

Now the English have placed bounty

They really want my head .

The Spanish and the Portuguese

Those same words they have said .

But I shall keep on plundering

For there's more treasure to behold.

Diamonds, rubies, emeralds

And of course, Spanish bars of gold

So if you see a Jolly Roger

Flying off in the horizon blue.

You better kiss your a*s goodby

Cause I'm a comin after you !!

Just sailing on the blue
Minding my own business

Don't have much to plunder
But trinkets and beads
Worthless cute dogs
I wonder who leads

But I have a special power
It lives within my heart

The title made me laugh. ^^* It was a curious title that made me pause before reading your poem. Then the body comes into view and its flow is marvelous.
