FORGET ABOUT LOVES PASTA Poem by DONALD EISSLERSometimes remembering loves past can makes love present a memory too read on my friends and learn ....I didn't know she loved me, Though she said it many ways. So now I sit here thinking, My mind now in a daze. She said not to call her, Not speak to her again. Think I really hurt her. What a fool I've really been. Nothing I can do now, I'll have to let her go. Should have paid more attention, When shot by cupids bow. I tried to be so cavalier For I'd been hurt before. One should pay more attention, If love comes knocking at your door. She will find another, For a beauty that she be. Now I know its too late To say how much she means to me. So I will miss her smile, Her hugs and kiss's too. Wish I could change things That I'd really like to do. She had given me her love, Like no ones done before. But like a stupid jester, I let it slip it right out the door Hope that I have learned Now a lesson that will last. When someone gives her love, Better forget about loves past. © 2011 DONALD EISSLERAuthor's Note
