I ONLY HAVE ONE ROSE

Wishing I had a garden full

I only have one rose,

That I can send you.
Wish I had a garden full
But wishes do come true.

I can close my eyes,
In my imagination I do  see.
A dozen pretty roses,
Sent to you from me.

I can see their beauty,
Their aroma I do smell.
Not only in my mind
But in my heart as well.


Though I can not touch you,
Your aroma not be in the air.
If I close my eyes,
Both will be right there.

So take this rose I send,
Hold to thy heart.
Feel the aura in it.
Now we're not that far apart.

So please do consider
These words I write to you
Have the deepest meaning
That show I love you too.
