Unmasked Reality

In trying times, the pride of joy commences on the other side of the road

I can only imagine what may bring to the spiteful reaction of human nature

Valuables, riches, and taken potential of scattered gifts, all faded when unwanted turn of events 

Suddenly befall to the once sunny faces of humanity

A sudden collapse that triggered that of which seemed hidden ever since

The view narrowed down to one straight path neglecting the ones that truly shine

It is the roadway to insanity which many find soothing in a way blinding them to the true desire 

Of happiness

 

The beginning of madness triumphed my feelings to a sight of a golden opportunity

Distinguished from what I never had, I finally have it

But though it filled the nest of what was desired, made the preceding birds fly

I ask myself why and I tell myself don’t mind

Oh, what a delight I had once,

A bliss that appears to fade every time I recount the former days

I wonder when I can finally again experience such

 

Waking up to the evening of isolation, in such cold empty vase

Allowed myself to realize how important many things are

The world outside depends on how people respond to menaces of the days and nights

If it were live, I see the future of ousted civilians who once tried claiming the land of this earth

Oh, how can the Almighty reverse the utter selfishness of man amidst this dilemma

 

Into the shadows we were, and into the light we emerged

In trying times, the pride of joy once commenced in the light of the world

A sudden wake up call was made to unmask the lies of us all

The view that seemed wide, gave us the reason to eat our own

It is the undesired roadway to insanity which many deserve for we have been blindly selfish to our own true desire of happiness
