The Far Unkown

The Far Unkown

A Poem by Aramey

I came from the garden in the sky
living among stars, spackled across the night
I was born to walk under the moon
but when I return, it'll be not a moment too soon.

Humans with no trace of humanity,
replaced instead with greed and vanity,
I find solace in nature and things that are free,
like the sound of the waves where sand meets sea.

I am not like the others I find,
I seek only peace of mind.
Most will claim to want the same,
then cause the issues and pass the blame.

I escape within the reverie
far away from all this treachery,
gazing back upon my home,
I belong to the far unknown.
