Oceans

Oceans

A Poem by Aramey

Ebb
and flow,
oceans,
telltale push
and pull.
The waters reach,
renewal
returning her secrets,
to the depths below.
Searching
reaching
fingertips aglow
a bio-luminescent edge
tiny flashlights
grab as they come,
and then they let go.
Wanderers.
Travelers.
The sun, she will rise
but tonight,
she sleeps,
but not resting
until rested
is all that she knows.
A magic
as sounds crash,
a force behind the water
as her salty will bends
and smacks
the bitter sand
where so many footprints,
were made, just,
to be erased again.
Seashells stolen,
erased from memory
as new ones are given,
gifts... from the creatures within.
It is no matter,
then,
cool fingers keep searching,
for lost treasures,
which one day
again
meets the sand.

Nice! I loved the flow...and it moved in waves. :)
