The DisguiseA Poem by Aramey
Foretold a grim despair,
thus each wanton tear, falls with passion's flair, and drifts beyond the glare. For each light's a shining star, that thrums through sight and sound, creating a wave of wonder and awe, and travels again, homeward bound. As society begs of wrongs, to this we mustn't dare to succumb, as we ignore the greed in heightened song, tempted by all with justice's feigned thrum. The devil's mark lies in our eyes, he waits, as human's will surely bleed, crouched in his clever disguise, like a demon, biding his time to feed. © 2014 ArameyFeatured Review
