Enchanted

Enchanted

A Poem by Aramey

Tides that ebb and flow,
leaving skeletons of the past behind,
as they pass quietly,
to and fro.
Much like footprints in the sand,
a mark left silently,
upon the land.
Another sunset passes by,
symbolic of a journey
that moves like the tide.
Giving way to the stars,
revealing the night sky,
the sun has set another day,
settling the jagged fray.
And how each star twinkles,
and shines,
promise of new life,
and old scars left far behind.
Each wish reflected in waters deep,
and each wave sparkles,
with silent might,
as I continue to stroll,
on enchanted night.

You always paint things in the mind that not only is touching, wonderful and easy to relate to. Leave your mark, don't let the past uncovered dissuade your dreams.
