Lover's Delight

Lover's Delight

A Poem by Aramey

Entranced by your fingertips
they trace the curve of my hips,
palms follow, pulling me closer,
my lungs, grasping, to breathe you in.

I could tremble here for hours,
as I feel your warm breath
grazing across the flesh on my neck,
tempting my body's reaction
that has already begun.

A call unspoken, but heard,
pressing softly into corners of my mind
previously untouched, and untamed
wilderness brimming at the surface,
you catch a glimpse in my eyes.

My gaze passes and then drops
hiding things I had long left behind
but you capture me, turning my chin
to hold the gaze and peer within.

A surrender, I'm breathless
heart beating, speeding,
two lost souls who find solace in each other,
lifting to meet your eyes, and the embers of desire

Lips touch, moving from softness into fire
you come over me like high tide,
drifting and pulling across the sands
kneading away the stresses and strife,
filling me... with lover's delight.

Beautiful, Aramey...I was truly lost your words...I imagined it and felt it. Awesome.
