Come with Me

Come with Me

A Poem by Aramey

Come with me...
let me show you my world,
and take you to a place you've never seen.
It's not like here, where serenity sleeps,
and the soul is only quiet in dreams.
Mountains, moons, and shining stars
lighting up the night sky in my land from afar.
Follow me here and lay in the tufts of plush grass,
watching the meaning of night... come alive.
Walk with me and touch tranquility's still waters,
as we watch it fall between our delighted fingers.
Can you feel it's gentle, clean texture flowing?
This world is silent of societies deafening noise
only our laughter and the sounds of nature exist here.
Escape with me into the lake by the wildwood
under a blanket of blue moonlight,
as it beckons us so.
