Tears

A single tear
crosses thousands of miles
of grief and pain
so what do you say
when thousands of tears
still... can't wipe the pain away?
these beads of water and saline
flooding, falling, and... stained

hold them back,
don't let anyone see
you're strong enough
try to make yourself... believe
but on a cold earth floor
the only comfort
what the hell has happened to me
when am I unable to stand
and I can't even breathe...

Very true. I've found recently that humility is an important quality.
