Siblings of Fate

Siblings of Fate

A Poem by Aramey

I have tasted
the fruit of passion
and as his tempest blows
whirlwinds of desire not far behind
the power she too... beholds

Shatter all you believe
because you never know
when they come for you
'tis a strength few can bestow
a quicksand trap, the more you fight
the more the appeal will grow

Hold fast to your heart
or hope there is more
if you dare...
touch~ the knob to that door

Behind it is the world of dreams
hidden behind a careful hello
escape an illusion, you will never
be able to completely let go.

Very true, but some of them are terrifying. Thank you Chris :)

that is exactly why they need opening... to let go of unreasonable life-crippling fears.
