Armageddon

Armageddon

A Poem by Aramey
"

As described in the book of revelations

"
A storm brews in the fragile skies
hanging in the balance
an otherworldly sunrise
the winds of wild stallions, where is our valiance?
shifting through the ashen trees
resounding a low hum, like a trillion bees

Mountains tumbling- drop into the Earth
the waves lose control, corkscrew, and roll
the trumpets sound again of death and rebirth
executed is the darkest imaginable scroll
the birds that fly over, now lie on the ground
all of humanity, fear... and spellbound

Whales line the beaches, a break in the water
death, destruction, and endless pyre
the pale faced horse- a formidable trotter
all that are left be consumed in fire
hold your loved ones close, your daughters and sons
there is no escape... when the pale faced comes
