Hands UnwillingA Poem by Aramey
You came to me, my darkest hour
showing me how love devour with my back against a concrete wall I had no choice but plummet, and fall. Against your flesh, my heart grew cold but I did not falter of future untold I failed to reach for hands unwilling reaching for them was far too chilling. Now I stand away from you there wasn't any, I could do when your hands held out for mine a vicious battle, all in good time Angels wept as I stood fast refusing to move, holding the past your lips that brought me to my knees is now a prison, and my disease. I wander the earth, a jaded soul the chains, still taking their unexpected hold forgiveness is won in time, they say it lies in the wake of the darkest days.
