Owe you thee IMAGINATION!

Owe you thee IMAGINATION!

A Poem by Anushka Saha

Its been years,
but nothing could change my fate
I kept blaming,
but hoped secretly that someone would save.

Stood in front of mirrors,
figuring the right and wrong
but when i closed my eyes,
the world was bright and exempted from thorns!

I love the time of the day when i see things which are not real
cause reality strikes hard like liege captured in prison.
I feel free, I breath free,I see and think free
when a creation of God,rather a boon of lord bestows on me.

Imagination! what to call this magnificent purple attired angel
pulls me out of pain heals me from the wounds
keeps me alive, shows me what is life.
sees no end,oh! you unbounded aura!
I owe thee for my survival.

You made my tears and even turned them into giggles.
You even let me have some people who existed never
They call you my hobby and call me creative
but i honor thee as a piece of my life
a tiny one but whose absence will take away the peace of my life!

lovely piece, starts off sort of bleak almost hopeless, but as the poem and story progresses, so much hope enters the scene. lovely use of imagery here, really loved this piece overall, also really loved this line "
cause reality strikes hard like liege captured in prison."
