  • The Supreme Court has today stated that the police has the right to decided on farmers' Republic Day tractor rally.
  • The top court said that it will not pass orders on the rally as it is irregular and improper to allow or disallow any rally, the police will decide it.
  • The court said this while hearing a plea from the Centre, asking to not allow farmers' to hold the tractor rally on January 26.
  • Letting you know, the farmer leaders will have a meeting regarding the routes and arrangements of the rally with the police officials.
  • The Joint Commission of Police, SS Yadav will coordinate the meeting in which Haryana and UP police officials will also be present.
