NC slams BJP of twisting Farooq Abdullah's remark over restoration of Article 370

• The National Conference (NC) Monday denied that its President Farooq Abdullah had said Article 370 would be restored China's help.
• The party accused BJP of “completely twisting” his remarks made during a TV interview.
• Dr Abdullah never said that together with China he will bring back Article 370 as misquoted by Sambit Patra , stated NC spokesman.
• The spokesman further said that Patra has the habit of twisting statements of opposition leaders in order to suit the political agenda of the party.
• Earlier Sambit Patra accused Farooq Abdullah of passing “seditious and anti-national” remarks on the issue of restoring of Article 370 and said he had become a “hero in China”.
