Upon The Horizon

Upon The Horizon

A Poem by Andrew N. Farrens
"

Just the truth, and nothing but the truth…..

"
I want to be absolutely clear "

I kind of fear I’m only here

So I can offend everyone and no-one

I remembered it’s November 3rd
And for Shadow I’m pouring some
Liquor on the ground as I’m hoping some
Words appear to me
Floating silently upon the horizon
Dreaming of my dead father and mother I’m lying
On their bed trying to not be bothered
By both of them dying
I’m living a life that simply leaves me crying
Out
for some sort of change
But it all remains the same since I keep hiding
The truth
within the lie of me, myself, and I
SO
I stopped writing
I can’t tell the why
Who what where when
On how to bury self-hate cowards use for escape

To The End
