The land of Peace

The land of Peace

A Poem by ANCIENTRUNAWAY

Crystal ended water Mirroring my kind complexion
crashes, kindly, upon the smoothened rocks
Greeting one another with hellos and goodbyes
Birds fly among I
 making no sound nor crow
Skies of blue cherish my smile Embraced me for hours and days
Happily to watch the summered haze
The wind swirls within my hair
Truthfully I didn't even care
Which was undoubted to be unfair
 (paid $20 for my locks!)
Yet I put on my specs and glide above the islands of Peru and China
 Russia and Greece
United Kingdom and Japan
Praising the moon for its beauty I hear ballads and glee....
"Why..
It must be.."
Peter Pan playing around with his littl'uns'

A beautiful and hopeful poem. I like the artwork and the places you took me in your words. The days of Peter Pan were the best days for our imagination. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Again I love the rhythm! Your style reminds me of the way I think of poetry when i'm writing, It's like the reader can hear the writing speaking :)

Describing a flight on a jet...saying goodbye at the airport then watching out the window as birds fly by and water crashes on rocks below. The imagery you employ is spectacular. I liked the injection of fantasty with Peter Pan! Very picturesque...a poem one can get lost in! Lydi**
