Queen Of The Damned

Queen Of The Damned

A Poem by AMacabreDream

Kissing a blackened shadow,
In a world of bleak mystique.
Darkening with every turn,
In a life that is oh so unique.

The chaos in her dark, ash eyes,
Hold their mesmeric sway.
Prey unable to see through their submission,
Another clear and positive day.

Her seductive, enchantresses body,
Holding an immortal mind.
A lust, her vampiric addiction,
In a body and mind only she can bind.

Since centuries of uneven breath,
She has seen flood, famine and war.
Mother to a cursed plague,
Queen to a race devoured in faulty lore.

Akasha from 'Queen Of The Damned' is what really made me write this poem.
