Brain VS Brawn

Brain VS Brawn

A Poem by AMP
"

Who wins in the end?

"

Get up, little weakling.

Fight like you mean it.

Forget to turn the other cheek.

Give them what they deserve today.

You will take nothing now.

You'll watch them writhe in pain.

You will lay down the law

Because that's all they need.

So show them whose boss.

They aren't so tough anymore.

Let them count their own losses,

While you enjoy being free.

Pent up feelings are always spring loaded.

They should have learned that by now.

They will never forget,

How you proved them all wrong.

Nose in book and hand on a pen.

You are that little brainy kid.

Now look where you're at.

Isn’t it obvious brawn never wins?

Because you can outsmart them,

Just as you can outbrave them.

They're so used to getting what they want,

That under pressure you are way stronger.

You can handle anything.

Like you handled them all these years.

And now you will win

By standing up for yourself.

You might sleep with a gun.

Hell, they sleep with a fist.

But you'd be way ahead on the run,

And all they'd do is duncily trip.

But what makes you different,

What makes you strong,

Is that after they fall,

You'd help them back up.

And when they're done writhing,

And you sheepishly grin.

They'll start to whine,

Where you would forgive.

So teach them this lesson.

To respect human life.

Brain and brawn are both gifts,

So please, use them right.
