Hi AMMD, love the poetic content of this write. Isn't it strange the way that we act against each other? Survival of the fittest is the way of the world these days, still, there are those who are there for their fellow human beings. Sometimes I wish there were much more. I think maybe only if we allow it to. There's a pervasive and strange conundrum that a lack of savagery imbibes weakness, but it's not true. We all perhaps have the capacity to be monsters. It's the choosing not to that composes strength, at least in my opinion and hope for what does or should separate us as evolved, non-neolithic creatures heading to a cannibalized doom. As I recall, Beelzebub was lord of the flies. Perhaps the connection is that the situation described is hellish. In such an environment, no one grows fit and immune.

Moreso had a focus on narcissism, jealousy, and the strange need to sabotage. It's childish and best met with silence - no reaction. Best antidote/immunity, although it does let the evil mask slip a bit when subtly done. Nice review. Good morning and thank you
