An ode to raspberry jello

You coagulate like blood

just not as fast

sweet like cheap candy,

so why do you mock me?

Is it that you

reject becoming

my ambrosia

for a mere buck?

Or are you attempting

to teach me

a life lesson

from a plastic bowl?
