BondageA Poem by Ambra CelesteBondage The vines and thorns of a dark past Persist their hold on her fighting heart Mermaids sing to lure her away From a blissful future back to an obscure cave Grazing the bruises that are yet to heal Blinding the sight for her not to see Shredding the gown that covered the soul Revealing the luscious skin she never noticed before Undressing the essence that was dying to live Adoring her innermost self with flowers not thorns Reborn to be wild and defend her throne She burned the anguishing bondage It is no more.
