The Homeless Athlete
by: a Lonely Minute

He is an athlete,
Better and better yet
He won't give up,
What he wants he will get

Countless miles,
Lifting weights,
No time for smiles,
No time for dates

Determination is his love,
Getting better isn't enough
Of everyone else he is above
Can he handle all this stuff?

Bigger and faster is his goal,
Improvement is but a bridge of toll,
His time and soul belongs to the sport,
Never dreaming of getaway resorts.

Hickory dickory dock,
The athlete has too many clocks.
Running and lifting almost non-stop
Could he stop even just one clock?
