from the heart

from the heart

A Poem by ALEXisP34C3
"

very old

"

I’m tired of living, tired of this life
I’ve been around the world, I seen it twice
At first life seemed gorgeous, beautiful, and grand
But when you lose your first love everything is bland

And for this soul there’s no such thing as numbness
There’s only hurt and hate and the realization of dumbness
I guess I deserve it for my past sins
I caused him to grief because of a tiny whim

I love him I really do
I remember when I told him I’d do anything for you
But I guess her blood is sweeter than mine
It must be lush sweet and simply divine

I took it like a man and acted very bliss
I walked graciously to my room and started slitting my wrist
But I accidentally made a mistake
But my death I know it would be hard for him to take

I’m tired of living, tired of this life
I’ve been around the world, I seen it twice
At first life seemed gorgeous, beautiful, and grand
But when you lose your first love everything is bland
