Why'd You Choose Her Over Me?A Poem by Das MuffinI think the title kind of speaks for itself. Here I am in the cold, dark night Waiting, waiting Contemplating Was there something you wanted that I couldn't be? Why'd you choose her over me?
Now I'm standing in the rain Crying, crying Tears aren't drying Fearing what the reason could be Of why you chose her over me
Now I'm sitting here again Thinking, thinking Always thinking Of any reason that could be Why you chose her over me
Here I am in bed again Lying, lying Slowly dying From the pain that you caused me Because you chose her over me
I am back in school again Walking, walking Never talking The pain inside for all to see Because you chose her over me
Here's my mind in disarray Confused, confused Overused Wond'ring what the reason could be Why you chose her over me
Here's my heartbeat, steady now Fading, fading Heart is breaking Because I'm hurting, can't you see? Because you chose her over me
You're over there with her again Fighting, fighting Then all right That's why it confuses me Why you chose her over me
I'm sitting in the dark again Pleading, pleading Silently screaming Your second choice now I must be Because you chose her over me © 2008 Das MuffinReviews
