Black Tulips

Black Tulips

A Poem by ALB

Spring again, but my tulips died.
First time in ten years
since the year after
I first planted them.
'spose it's about time.

Tiger lilie, this time, I think,
something new, bight and tall,
and I'll put in one
of those cute hummingbird
feeder.
