SolitudeA Poem by n8adamczak
Peering into the vastness
That of the unknown Each step takes more courage To discover things alone The horizon is grey but vibrant Alive with earth's solemn glow Looking back upon the wreckage That cut him off from home Each step takes him forward Into the eternal beach of dust Boulders, hills, and craters Nothing there to trust Life is non-existent Not a single moving thing A place for introspection To see what others have seen For its not the moon that's lonely That is just his soul Filling his life with trivial things That will never make him whole Now there's nothing but truth To himself he can not lie For all the things he yearned for He pushed his friends aside Missing those he left behind Due to choices that he made For its only him now On his voyage soon to fade © 2012 n8adamczakAuthor's Note
