Carpet Girl

Carpet Girl

A Poem by Psyche

Crumpled paper on the floor,
But not just any floor
A Carpet floor.

Plush, soft, fluffy
Carpet.
Superior to that of wood.

The dainty feet that imprint
Themselves upon the carpet
Have a story much greater

That needs to be told.
Screamed from the rooftop,
A message for all to hear!

But, the speech has already
Been forgotten,
The story now a secret.
