You can put everything you know. In a bottle for you to show. Pick your brain apart and put it in.. And build it again with needles and pins.

The pressure of your own thoughts.

It can outweigh your judgment.

It can leave you feeling wrecked.

To drown in your sorrows.

You can stuff these thoughts into a bottle.

No matter how many times the glass cracks.

You can try to glue it back together.

But soon it will overflow.

Sailing on this ship in a bottle.

You are alone there is no crew.

This is your ship and you are the captain.

At some point you need to pop that cork.

You don’t have to hide away every time the seas get rough.

You don’t have to be the only one driving the ship.

Now stop thinking.

Today of all days must be rough.

The last day with the people you grew up performing these shows with.

You don’t have to pick your brain apart.

You don’t have to hide how that makes you feel.

Don’t hide it.

Saying the things that we both really feel.

That isn’t easy.

That’s a whole storm of its own.

I understand.

Breathe.

And keep breathing for now.

Every storm has its breaking point.

You will find calmer seas.
