I listen to this song as a reminder.

I don’t have to do things on my own.

Difficult or simple.

People are willing to offer you a hand.

You just have to be willing to take that hand.

I know there are times when I don’t explain myself.

I know that drives you crazy.

It can be frustrating.

I understand that.

There are many times when you frustrate me.

You don’t always say what’s on your mind either.

Sure some things may bother me.

And you don’t want to tell me because of that.

But I want to know anyway.

It isn’t because I want to be upset.

I just want to know what you’re thinking.

No matter how many times I end up being right about you.

There are things I am wrong about.

There are many times when I misunderstand something you say.

But you cut your words short.

Then I never know.

Yet even after some arguments.

We both stay.

There’s a reason for that.

And you know it.

That’s how it’s supposed to be.

Whether people realize it or not.

It’s never going to be easy.

Never perfectly balanced.

You know what you want to do with your life.

You have found that path in your career.

I was right.

You did end up finding a job.

And the year hasn’t even ended yet.

You made it into one of the best music schools in the country.

I knew you would.

You doubt yourself too much.

I think you could do just about anything.

Except win a fight..

I still stand on that one.

Jokes aside.

You don’t have to deal with things on your own.

People are willing to help.

They may not be able to 100% understand your situation.

But they will try to.

That’s what matters.

You have people.
