A water hag or a bilge hag, monsieur Pestonjee? I find your title here very interesting; an older version of one which we commonly refer to in our modern day naughtiness. It does apparently lead to blindness and insanity if engaged in frequently! A hag spreading a virus is worse than the virus itself. Kudos for this very different style of a senryu. Stay away from the swamps! :))

The physical and mental kind, both should be practiced in moderation. The virus in question thinks the the world at large is its oyster and is going overboard. That will spell it’s doom. And yes, I suspect it’s excesses have already turned it blind and paraplegic. Just a matter of time before humans begin trials for the ultimate vaccine.

Since our PM declared a stern 21 day shutdown, I have begun thinking of this virus in very vile, vicious terms. Certainly the act of a vindictive witch to cause such an upheaval in the upbeat, action-packed lives of young Delhiites like us! I condemn it!
