Known before I was even born,
In Your love, I was carefully formed.
You saw my days before they came to be,
You knew my purpose, my destiny.
In the secret place, You knitted me,
A masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully.
Your eyes beheld my unformed substance,
With love and intention, You shaped my essence.
Before I took my very first breath,
You had a plan for my life's quest.
You called me by name, You knew my worth,
You ordained my steps upon this earth.
In Your book, all my days were written,
The moments of joy, the trials I'd be smitten.
You saw every tear, heard every cry,
Your loving presence, always nearby.
Known before I even spoke a word,
You saw the depths of my heart, unheard.
Your thoughts toward me, they are so kind,
You're the One who knows me, inside and out, refined.
In my weaknesses, You bring forth strength,
In my doubts, You lead me to a greater length.
You know my struggles, You understand,
In Your loving arms, I find refuge and stand.
Known before I even knew myself,
You saw my potential, my hidden wealth.
You called me out of darkness into light,
