Narcissus is Back

Narcissus is Back

A Poem by Arrianna
"

Describing a "friend."

"
You must like mirrors and still waters
You treat your dogs like they're your daughters
You care for no one but yourself
I'm sure you'll find true love in hell
Your only friend is your reflection
Because you've ruined all your connections
But that's okay, friend, is it not?
Sometimes yourself is all you've got
You'd send the whole world away
Self-solitude, if I may say
The mirror is all you'll ever need
Your love is here, you are he
You're the protagonist in this tale
Your mind just never seems to fail
A hero, savior, a lone wolf
A devil, killer, nowhere to look
There used to be a man like you
Beautiful, strong, his love was true
Narcissus loved the face inside the pool
You both shall die, you selfish fools

Arrianna
I got fed up with my ex-friend's self-centered behavior.
