Dead to Me

Dead to Me

A Poem by Arrianna
"

This is about a friend that I lost.

"
Here's a fresh bouquet of lilies
To compensate for our dead feelings
Let us by them on the grave
Neither of us know how to behave

What a terrible ending to friendship
Think of how long it could have lived
Had we just came up with the right words
Neither of us would have been hurt

I know that I like to give you the blame
But sometimes I feel kind of ashamed
Sometimes I do things out of pure wrath
I swear I can fix it; we'll find the right path

You'll have to regain my respect
Before I can truly forgive and forget
I promise to stay calm and not cuss you out
When you forget what I'm all about

A comedy, a tragedy
Everyday, you see me
But you never say a word
That is absolutely absurd
