The Oldest Dance Known to Man

The Oldest Dance Known to Man

A Poem by Arrianna
"

I was in a bit of a mood...

"
They'd have a fit if they saw the sheets
I can't hear myself think
The noise our skin makes when it meets
Lost in sweat and ecstasy

The bed can't handle this type of love
Flustered eyes watch from above
But you're all that I can think of
An overdose of my favorite drug

I drag my nails across your waist
Beg you to quicken your pace
You plant a kiss upon my face
Remind me that it's not a race

That burning feeling inside
I try desperately to hide
So upset I could've cried
We've neared the end of this ride

The ending hits and my heart drops
With a final cry I send you off
But I see none of your fire was lost
Neither of us are ready to stop
