A Little Serenading (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik)

A Little Serenading (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik)

A Poem by Arrianna
"

Sort of based off of the piece by Mozart.

"
The night sky makes the perfect background
I prepare a stage with ease
Moonlight bathes us all in romantic shade
May I have your attention, please?

I've come to warn you, fair maiden
There's something in the air!
It's infectious, and when it spreads, it
Leaves you hollow without a care

An odd fluttering in your heart
Red is painted on your cheeks
It's so bad, I hear,
That you forget how to speak!

You may notice the others, too
In fact, we're all a bit strange
What a horrible epidemic!
The nation is swept with pain

In my mandolin, I've stored medicine
'Twas the only thing I could think of
To save you, me, and everyone else
From a disease they call love.

Author's Note

Arrianna
I listened to Mozart's song and wanted to write something about serenading.
